dCal does not transmit any data from your device.
This app does not collect any personal information, usage information, or schedule content from users.
All schedule data (.cal files) is stored only in locations
chosen by you — your local disk, iCloud Drive, Dropbox, Google Drive,
OneDrive, etc. Neither the app developer nor any third party has access
unless you place the files on a service that does.
Settings (appearance mode, last opened file reference, etc.) are stored
in the standard UserDefaults and security-scoped bookmarks
within the app's sandbox, and are not transmitted externally.
The app does not include any network communication capability. macOS App Sandbox does not grant the app any network entitlement, so connecting to external servers is technically blocked at the OS level — this is not a policy promise, it's an OS-enforced constraint.
If you choose to keep your .cal file inside an iCloud Drive
or Dropbox folder, the file will be synced through that service in the
normal way. That data handling falls under the corresponding service's
own privacy policy, not dCal's.
Since nothing is collected, nothing is shared.
The app does not target any specific age group, nor does it intentionally collect personal information about children (or anyone).
If this policy is revised, changes will be announced via app updates. Please check the "Last updated" date above.
